    80 A group of Lilly Pulitzer colourfully printed menswear, 1970s, 'Men's Stuff' labelled, three ensembles and separates, comprising: cotton-blend sports jacket with Siamese cat print; salmon-pink linen example, gilt buttons cast with a smiling lion holding a flower; another in shades of bright orange; two pairs of trousers; synthetic shorts printed with tigers; cotton jersey shirt and two cotton ties, chests approx 107cm, 42in, waists 92-102cm, 36-40in (9) Heiress Lilly Pulitzer (nee McKim) founded her clothing company in 1959. Known for her brightly coloured, playful prints and smart-casual cotton daywear, her designs were popular with socialites and the wealthy elite in Palm Beach, Florida. The company's main factory was in Miami, and the fabrics were produced by the Key West Hand Print Fabrics company in Key West. When Jacqueline Kennedy was photographed in 'LIFE' magazine wearing a Pulitzer dress, the brand's popularity spread across America and Lilly became known as 'the Queen of Prep'. The 'Men's Stuff' label was introduced in the late 1960s and is believed to have lasted only a few years. £900
